The 2010 American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM) National
Conference will be held at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld®,
September 22-24, 2010.

conference is open to all types of integrative medicine practitioners and
health professionals. This year is expected to draw more than 800 attendees and
60 exhibitors from around the world. Participants can attend various workshops
on topics, such as tai chi, allopathic medicine, art therapy, heart disease
prevention, alternative treatment for ADD/ADHD, natural holistic healing and
complementary therapies.
Daniel L.
Kirsch, PhD, DAAPM, FAIS, CHS-III, is among the many keynote speakers that will
present at the conference. Dr. Kirsch is a world-renowned neurobiologist who is
best known for inventing the Alpha-Stim technology. His presentation will
introduce cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) as a primary or
complementary therapy for anxiety, insomnia and depression. He will discuss
indications and contraindications, selected research, proposed mechanisms and
practical use of this therapy.

of the AAIM is to promote the development of integrative medicine. The
association is focused on the implementation and maintenance of successful
programs and research that educate and certify practitioners in the integration
of safe and effective medical treatment modalities into healthcare. The AAIM is

medicine where appropriate, that result in improved clinical outcomes.
