Research teams systematically gather scientific data and expert opinions to develop comprehensive monographs that are designed to facilitate clinical decision making. For each therapy, the available scientific evidence of effectiveness is evaluated using the Natural Standard Evidence-Based Validated Grading Rationale™. All monographs undergo blinded peer review prior to inclusion in Natural Standard databases.

These guided tours will demonstrate how to navigate the various databases and cross reference medical conditions and therapies.

I just had this training a few days ago. It was very comprehensive and helpful. I really enjoyed it and feel more comfortable using the site. The Natural Standard website is a very user-friendly, but I would still recommend the live training webinars to increase your learning curve. You will be able to get much more out of the websites resources much quicker, and it is only a brief time commitment.

I have been using the Natural Standard database at my school for years, but after seeing this, it was such a wonderful way to learn all of the ins and outs of the database that I never knew and that will help me in the future! Anyone new to Natural Standard would definitely benefit from this training session. It provides a great overview on how to navigate the website and where to find the information you are looking for. Everything you ever wanted to know about contemporary and alternative medicine can be found on the Natural Standard database. The website also offers other helpful tools such as interaction checks and several webinars on a variety of topics. I can't tell you how many times I have gone to naturalstandard.com to look up interactions and to find general information on herbs for myself and for my patients.
