The interview with Marc Brush was very interesting. It was educational, I did not know a lot about the nutra-ceutical, nutra-beauty industry. With all of the manufacturer's that are out there, I liked how Marc pointed out a few they were going to be awarding. It is also nice to know what other people are doing in this industry as well.

Christan Thomas's presentation on gum disease is very informational as well! I have seen this presentation, and Christan did a great job of giving detailed background information on gum disease. She also explained different alternative medicine options that may be used to treat these gum diseases. Along with the treatment options, she highlighted important information to know about these alternative therapies. Gum diseases are typically treated over the counter, and ths coudl be a great way for pharmacists or other health care providers to learn about alternatve options for treatment! Watch this webinar!

The interview with Marc Brush is very informational. Mr. Brush discusses how there has not being much innovation in functional foods and supplement market. He, therefore, is making a move to encourage the industry to strive for innovations. Mr. Brush also discusses the upcoming issue of NBJ which as a sneak peak includes trends in national retail supplement sales, enhancing product bioavailability, and how clinical trials sometimes don't show what the researchers want so more focus should be on mechanism of action. I highly recommend that everyone listen to the interview!
