These featured products are a great idea. I have heard of fenugreek, and believe I have seen it in recipes before, but didn't have a clue what it was. Interesting that it also has so many perspective medical uses.

What an awesome find! Of course, I checked out the bottom line monograph on Natural Standards website to look more into fenugreek since it's such a foreign topic/word to me. I was shocked to see it's indications for all types of uses including head lice, obesity, skin care, and last but certainly not least, an evidence grade of B for type 2 diabetes! That is incredible, it can be used both for prevention and control. It also can increase satiety and help with weight loss, which makes it even more helpful for diabetes treatment. This looks like it could be promising for the future of diabetics.

I have heard about fenugreek but never knew it could be used in people with diabetes to enhance their sensitivity to insulin (Natural Standard allotted Grade B for use in diabetes mellitus type 2). According to the Natural Standard Monograph on fenugreek, it could also be used as a weight loss aid because it helps increase satiety. Very interesting read.

I went to an Indian restaurant last week and actually saw fenugreek included in one of the dishes, and remembered this webinar and the potential benefits Natural Standard presented with regards to fenugreek. Thanks!

I had never heard anything about Fenugreek before. Skimming Natural Standard's monograph on it, I learned that is a common condiment in India. I had no idea!

Just saw a couple recipes in the Natural Standard recipe database with fenugreek as an ingredient! All of the recipes sound delicious, and with so many beneficial ingredients, you can't go wrong!

I’ve never heard much about Fenugreek, I’d love to take the CE to find out more about it. Thanks for everyone who shared about the many uses of fenugreek such as for type 2 diabetes and also for women who are breastfeeding. I can’t wait to search the Natural Standard database to find out what else fenugreek can do!

I’ve never heard of Fenugreek, so I looked through the “bottom line” monograph on the Natural Standard website to find out information about it quickly and efficiently. The monograph mentioned it has grade C evidence as a skin care product. I’m really interested in natural skin care products so I’m going to try a Fenugreek containing skin products. The monograph said it can be used as a natural skin clear product for 6 weeks.

This CE/CME is very useful, especially considering the varied uses of fenugreek. Among the most studied has to be type 2 diabetes, however. This is the only disease state for which fenugreek has an evidence grade of B, and a quick readthrough of the evidence in fenugreek's monograph for diabetes is definitely a must for every practitioner.

I've never heard of Fenugreek before, and am definitely interested in taking the CE module. It's great that Natural Standard offers CE's and CME's for healthcare professionals to increase their knowledgebase on complementary and alternative medicine.

I never knew that fenugreek has antidiabetic properties because it is used quite a bit in my household. Maybe my diabetic family members should try it as a supplement.

Before today I didn’t know what Fenugreek was. I love that Natural Standard is always coming out with new and interesting herbs, supplements and food to help with overall health. According to the Natural Standard database, fenugreek has been used to treat Type 2 Diabetes and obesity. This is great since I am always wondering about the health benefits of different foods.

Fenugreek has many uses. I have heard breast feeding women take fenugreek capsules three times daily to increase their milk supply. Many doctors agree and encourage the practice.

Just found out today that a delicacy known as Methi Kalia (Spicy Fenugreek Meat) is a common traditional dish in Bangladesh. This is a rare dish in other parts of the world. Because of the less adverse effects with natural remedies, Fenugreek might actually come into play for diabetic patients and those with other comorbidities who still crave a nice and spicy meal with meat. Fenugreek has a bitter saponins component known as protodioscin. If Fenugreek is treated with beta-glucosidase it reduces the bitterness and makes it more likely for humans to consumer it in larger quantities which can have a therapeutic effect.

I just read that Fenugreek is also used as an herbal treatment for diabetes. It comes in a seed powder formulation that could be incorporated into bread, and in capsule formulations as well. These CE/CME modules seem like a really great educational tool for healthcare practitioners and I feel that it's a great way to stay updated in CAM therapies.

I always love seeing ancient remedies being scrutinized by modern scientific research. There have been a lot of trials and a great amount of wisdom behind herbal treatments such as Fenugreek. Natural Standard is really doing the medical world a favor by giving these herbs a fair chance and subjecting them to careful scientific evaluation.
