Interesting topic. There are not many treatment options that work quickly for herpes labialis so alternatives are always welcome. This webinar was very informative and the way the information was presented was quick and easy to understand.

I would've never known that chocolate could be a trigger for an herpes outbreak had I not watched this webinar! This webinar is very informative and makes me think twice before sharing a cup with people. I wish the sound quality of the webinar would be better, though.

This was a very well organized presentation that began with an introduction to what herpes labialis is and it transitioned to integrative therapies and the clinical applications. It was quite interesting to see that there such a high (between 50 to 80%) prevalence of herpes simplex virus-1 that affects the general population. Another good reason as two why wearing sunscreen is so important is that according to this presentation sunlight can be a trigger for herpes breakouts. Overall, the presentation was very informational and also a great introduction on how to better utilize the natural standard databases.

That's true SM! I truly appreciate the patient cases Natural Standard presents in the webinars to make learning about natural products and alternative therapies much more realistic. It's great so see how typical patients may approach their health care providers with inquiries about herbal and natural therapies, and how to use Natural Standard to answer their questions.

I would never have thought that alternative/complementary medications could treat the symptoms of a viral infection. It makes sense though. Some treatments are effective for managing pain, anxiety, infections (penicillin did come from bread mold after all), and many other conditions.

While these webinars are very helpful in learning about alternative methods of treatment for diseases it is also necessary to speak to your doctor about your treatment option. If you are interested in complementary and alternative medicines try to find a doctor who will work with you to find the right choice for you and also understand that sometimes the right option may not be an alternative medicine.

These webinars are a very useful educational tool that the Natural Standard provides. They are really great because you can watch them at your own convenience and learn something new! In this presentation, the focus was on lemon balm, para-aminobenzoic acid, zinc, chlorophyll, l-lysine, and tea tree oil for the treatment of herpes labialis symptoms. The cases presented are also very interesting and informative. You should definitely check this out!
