I look forward to seeing this series! I hope that more people, especially healthcare providers, will see this series so that they are able to make more informed decisions about products for themselves and their patients. This will allow people to get familiar with the Natural Standard website and the rationale of the company as a whole. Natural Standard is a great resource that people need to become more aware about!

This television broadcast is a wonderful way to get information out to the public. However, since I am just learning about it and it only runs through mid-August, I was very happy to see that it is available as “video on demand”. I just watched “An Inside Look: The Natural Standard Research Collaboration” by following the link to YouTube. It’s a great video demonstrating the benefits of an integrative approach to medicine. One tidbit I learned from the video that I found very interesting was that more individuals see complementary providers than primary care providers. This certainly highlights the importance of an integrative approach.

This will be fun to watch. I am sure this will be a very informative series. I know that I will try to tune in when possible so that I can further my knowledge on alternative therapies. Since patients seem to be relying on more natural products every day, it would be extremely practical to have a working knowledge base about what is out there and how patients are using them. Its comforting to know that I can rely on The Natural Standard website to look up information about such therapies whenever it is warranted.

What a good installment for this BTV series. More practitioners and consumers need to inquire about the efficacy and safety of various herbs and supplements. The research is out there, and Natural Standard is doing a great job of compiling it all. As long as this information is unbiased and reputable, health care may continue to progress in the modern world.

Its great to see Natural Standard taking an active role in educating the community! As a pharmacy student, I always get questions regarding natural options for disease states, and many are uncomfortable making recommendations, so this series would be beneficial for both the general public and healthcare professionals as well! Fantastic that you offer a complimentary log in to the Natural Standard website as well for turning in!

This is a wonderful opportunity for people to see what Natural Standards is about. Providing complimentary access to the website is great way for people to use the website and see the benefits of it. The website is beneficial to all audiences including non-health care professionals, and having Dr. Ulbricht, the CEO and founder of Natural Standard giving the talk is a great way for people to understand the true benefits of Natural Standards. As a user of the website, I would recommend it to all audiences, because it is really easy to follow, and it gives you the most pertinent information about the complementary and alternative therapies you are using.

I think this is a great way to empower consumers to make informed decisions on something that they already do anyway...most people try natural and herbal products to treat their health conditions before attempting anything else. Hopefully this will make it easier to get better results by helping to select evidence-based modalities.

I had the opportunity to view the first episode in this series and found it very informative. Dr. Ulbricht shares how the need for high quality information on alternative therapies by healthcare providers resulted in the development of Natural Standard. In addition, I enjoyed learning how Natural Standard ensures an unbiased result when determining evidence grades for therapies. I look forward to viewing other episodes in this series!

That's so great that you are offering viewers complimentary access to Natural Standard! As a healthcare practitioner, I find Natural Standard to be an invaluable resource when I need unbiased information about integrative medicine. It's so important to be fully informed about any and all healthcare decisions made, so check out any new supplements or herbals you're considering trying! You may find some great new information or you may realize that its not actually the best choice for you.

After viewing the first installment, I look forward to the rest of this series! Dr. Ulbricht has already shared some important information, and I'm sure viewers will find the future episodes to be just as interesting and informative.

It’s great that people are becoming more and more aware and interested in alternative therapies. This video is a great introduction to the Natural Standard for those naïve to the site. I think it’s also great that a password is provided for those healthcare providers and consumers who were interested in testing out the site for themselves!

It is a great idea to have Dr. Catherine Ulbricht on Bridgewater Television. Not many health care professionals are comfortable with complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Natural Standard is one of a few databases out there that can give health care professionals evidence-based information regarding CAM. Furthermore, Natural Standard is consumer user friendly. It gives consumers a better understanding of the herb/supplement they are taking. Although herbs/supplements are considered natural, there are potential for interactions with conventional medications.
