Agree with the other comments that this is a great opportunity and achievement for students. It is a great introduction and a gateway to learning more about integrative medicine as this is an up and coming field in the pharmacy world. All pharmacy students should take full advantage of this and more should be informed!

This is GREAT!! It is extremely important for graduating practitioners to recognize the importance of multidisciplinary healthcare. There is no better way to get colleges and universities on board with the paradigm shift that is occurring than to offer an award to those students who pursue excellence by being ahead of the times. Patients do not want to tackle their ailments from only one angle anymore! Kudos to Natural Standard for providing the information to more integrative healing.

This is a wonderful award! I’m going to make sure the College of Pharmacy I attend is aware of this award. Many colleges/institutions subscribe to Natural Standard and students get used to having access to their database. In my opinion, recent graduates should continue to subscribe to Natural Standard, especially due to an increase in natural and complementary medicine usage. It would be wonderful to earn this award and receive a year’s free subscription to Natural Standard’s professional database.

I think this is one of the most valuable research award that one can get. To be able have access to this huge database of herbal information together with all the evidence-based research literature all in one place will definitely enhance the winner of the award and increase their continues interest in Complementary Alternative Medicines. This is really a great collaborative effort by Natural Standard. I am already envying the individuals who will receive this Award.
