I was just looking at the database and this week I am going to try a recipe for acorn squash with apples and a melon smoothie. I am looking at all the recipes that take less than 30 minutes because usually that is how much time I want to spend cooking.

This is wonderful. I am not the best cook and I can never think of things to make for dinner. I am super excited about this recipe list. What makes this recipe database so practical for me is that it outlines all of the nutritional information, which is so important for me! Its so hard to count calories and stay on track when you don’t know what is in the food you are eating and its so complicated to add up the information from each of the individual ingredients in a meal on your own.

I recently took a food sensitivity exam and came back sensitive to a number of foods commonly found in my daily diet, such as cheese, eggs, beans, and yeast. Perfect timing for the new Natural Standard Recipe Database! The recipes, in conjunction with Natural Standard diet specific monographs, will help in finding new and tasty alternatives to my current diet. Can’t wait to try them out!

I used this database to find something new and healthy to eat for dinner the other night and it came out delicious. Can't wait to try more of the recipes on here and it's great that more are added all the time. Awesome resource for trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle and all of the nutrition information is included so there is no guessing.

The recipe page on Natural Standards is a great idea! Most of the recipes on the page are healthy, and give you plenty of options to satisfy that craving. More importantly, they provide links to monographs of many of the ingredients in the recipe, allowing the cooker to learn more about the ingredient they are eating. Hopefully, this will lead to more healthy and nutritious eating habits!

This is an amazing blog! As a dark skinned citizen, I rarely ever wear sunscreen, because I have never gotten sunburned. However, the idea of getting skin cancer always lingers in the back of my mind. On the flip side, I drink coffee almost daily. It is interesting how the researchers ever thought of that correlation, and that correlation may actually works! Overall, though sunscreen is still the better option to protect our skin from sun!

I am so excited about this recipe database! My favorite part is how it shows you the nutritional facts for each meal. This is really important to me because it make it a lot easier to count calories and carbs. Another great thing about this is that now I can use these recipes when I am in the mood to try something new, or find a different spin on a favorite dish of mine to mix it up. They literally have so many recipes!

I especially like the "Diet" section that each recipe has. As a vegetarian, this makes it really easy for me to quickly look at a recipe and know whether or not it's a vegetarian-friendly recipe! I also appreciate the links that some of the ingredients have so that I can easily research background information on these ingredients. Great idea!!

I cannot believe that I did not know about this resource before today. This recipe database already has so many ideas and is so easy to navigate! Since the recipes are electronic, I can browse them anywhere on my iPad... I can't wait to try the Turkish cucumber and mint soup!

It's nice to have the ability to search recipes on Natural Standard, while also having quick access to information on several of the food ingredients used. As this recipe database grows, it will become more intertwined with the Foods, Herbs & Supplements database providing information that could otherwise be overlooked.

Recipe database is amazing to find all the necessary information about calories, ingredients, nutrition facts and much more. You can access based on a specific diet for example: heart healthy diet or search by preparation/cook time. It is an all-in-one database

This is such a great idea!! It combines healthy recipes with links to the existing Natural Standard monographs on some of the ingredients. Great way to eat healthy and learn more about potential health benefits of common herbs and spices.

Not sure about everyone else, but I know that I sometimes feel like I'm making the same thing over and over. This is a great resource for me to not only find my next meal to cook, but also to learn about the food that I'm eating. It's amazing how many medicinal properties common ingredients can have!

Okay...so I just took a cyber-stroll through the Recipe Database, and I am officially hungry! YUMMY!!

One of the things that is going to be great about using this "Recipe" section is that the ingredients that have been researched will be hyperlinked in the recipe to their respective monographs. What a great idea!!

I like how Natural Standard links ingredients in a recipe to the corresponding Food, Herbs, and Supplements monograph. I then have the ability to research what I am eating and how it can benefit me. Who knew I would be combining cooking and drug information at the same time.
