I think this would be great on a cold day like today. To often we are coaxed into eating comfort foods when it's cold outside. This would be a great way to stay healthy and still keep warm!

Pumpkin soup sounds like a great recipe for winter. I love all the health benefits pumpkin offers and its a great way to introduce more vegetables into a diet! This recipe is definitely one that I will be trying in the future.

I love pumpkin anything, especially when fall comes around. This recipe looks like a great way to indulge, while still being healthy. This recipe is love calorie (only 72 calories per serving), low fat, low carb, and low cholesterol; not to mention all the nutrients that you get from the pumpkin. I really enjoy using the Natural Standard recipe database because it includes so many healthy options. There are many recipes I am looking forward to trying.

This is perfect, I have been wanting to make pumpkin soup ever since it started getting cooler out. While many recipes like this would probably call for cream or sugar or other things like that, this one is so healthy but tastes indulgent at the same time. Maybe I can use this as a healthier option instead of pumpkin pie. I also really liked the recipe for pumpkin pancakes I found on your website- delicious!

Pumpkins are known to be nutritious. They contain Vitamin A, C, E, K, Thiamine, Niacin, and Calcium among others. They are low on the glycemic index as well. Pumpkin soup is something I would like to introduce to my children as a new food, as they already have tried pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie. This is a healthy soup that will fill all of us up, but will ensure a good nutrition boost for two otherwise somewhat fussy eaters. With winter and cold season on the way, a hot bowl of delicious soup and some crust warmed bread sounds great.

I love pumpkin, and I am so excited when autumn rolls around so I can give into my pumpkin craving for three months! With it come remorse and a few extra pounds, usually. I love how this soup satisfies my pumpkin craving and fills me up, but doesn't fill me out. Finally I will have something to contribute to at Thanksgiving this year!

Pumpkin is one of my favorite fall flavors, so I am happy to see a heart healthy pumpkin recipe posted here. I love making soups but I find that many of them are high in salt. This is a great option for people trying to limit their salt intake, as well as those on the increasingly popular gluten-free diet. I will have to give this recipe a try! Thanks for the ideas!
